EMail To CBS Evening News

The following is an email I sent to CBS Evening News about their exclusion of Ron Paul & Dennis Kucinich from their new series on the presidential candidates.

***Send Your Own Email***

Hello,

Why are Ron Paul & Dennis Kucinich being excluded from your series on the candidates? The only candidates (other than Mike Gravel of course whom the MSM has already shut out) who offer any real alternative to a corporate controlled war mongering anti-civil liberties government?

I can understand that you may be able to make a reasonable argument that Kucinich does not have enough of a following to meet the criteria of being a "top candidate" but certainly Ron Paul does. Paul is most likely going to top all other Republicans for money raised in the fourth quarter. He recently set the record for most money raised in a single day and he is likely to top that record again on December 16th. Furthermore Ron Paul is easily the most searched candidate on the internet and his website receives far more traffic than any other candidate's website.

It's obvious that Ron Paul has a considerable following despite his low numbers in some national polls. It also must be noted that his name has been systematically removed from some of these national polls to make his support seem lower than it actually is. On top of that, much of Paul's support comes from independents and democrats who are not going to be polled in a Republican only poll. Paul is likely to be a serious challenger in all Republican primaries which allow non-registered Republicans to vote.

With the recent information that has come out about Iran in the NIE report it's clear that Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel have been the only candidates speaking any sense about that situation. All the other candidates have been on the wrong track.

It's clear that those in power do not want Ron Paul to be heard. Journalism should not be a tool of corporations. It should not be the tool of an elite class who benefit from a war mongering Government. The American people are hungry for real change and are tired of politics as usual.

Show some journalistic integrity. I'm sure some of you must have had some integrity at some point. Why did you get into journalism in the first place?

The "Ron Paul Revolution" is real. Stop ignoring it. Stop marginalizing it. Do your job and report on the real issues. Politics shouldn't be about some American Idol style popularity contest about who has a $400 haircut and who loves Jesus the most so on and so forth. This election is about who can stop the warmongering and who can bring the American people the freedoms that we deserve.

Thank You.

HOW NOT TO BE SEEN

It appears that CBS, like FOX, CNN and MSNBC is guilty of prejudice by omission.

Apparently, Fox News has decided NOT to include Ron Paul in it's upcoming New Hampshire debate. CBS leaves him out of the pack on it's website. CNN is still reporting September poll statistics in January! This all contributes to Ron Paul being perceived as a marginal candidate with little hope of winning a nomination.

Never mind that his campaign contributions exceed every other candidate, He places top in straw polls, even his post debate polls on CNN and FOX put him above everyone else!

FOX News WILL however include "actor" Fred Thompson - who didn't even show up at the first debates (coward & privileged - he says he'd like to be president, but doesn't like to campaign).

Meanwhile, Ron Paul, at 72 years of age manages to travel the country delivering speeches and lectures about things that actually matter to real people. Thompson offers nowhere near the intelligence or experience of Ron Paul. So why include Thompson and exclude Paul?

The corporate media, under pressure from the Republican Party insiders - and others whose influence peddling and bribery would be threatened under a Paul presidency, is using it's power of exclusion to marginalize any view that threatens it or it's stockholder class. If they don't want you to hear dissent from their position, they simply don't report on it - or worse, in the case of FOX propaganda network, they skew information, cut you off during an interview or talk louder than you - like punk kids rather than intelligent journalists.

Ron Paul is refreshing because he is honest. I don't think of him as a politician, but rather as a steward of the Constitution - the document George W Bush referred to as "a God-damned piece of paper".

No Democrat or Republican other than Paul or Kucinich will end this occupation in the middle east. None of them will readdress the excessive taxation, the massive national debt and the Federal Reserves' insane fiat currency.

Did I mention that Ron Paul has raised more money than any other candidate - and it didn't come from corporate lobbyists or the elite ruling class - it came from working people - REAL Patriots who are tired of being ripped off and lied to. Tired of war, fear mongering and propaganda.

It appears that some Ron Paul supporters are angry enough to organize a massive dump of NewsCorp stock on Jan 2, possibly costing Fox's parent company millions, as well as boycotting FOX advertisers as retaliation for FOX news' decision to exclude Congressman Paul. Money talks. Bullshit walks.

If you want to live as a slave to your government then forget about Ron Paul and suck up to one of the other ego-driven, corporate-sponsored candidates.

Wake up and smell the REVOLUTION!
