Ron Paul Wins Virginia Straw Poll Last Night

Ron Paul received 182 of the 479 ballots cast for a 38% share to win the informal Republican straw poll last night. He easily outdistanced Fred Thompson who finished in second place at 23%.

Mike Huckabee 11%
Rudy Guiliani 9%
Mitt Romney 9%
John McCain 5%
Duncan Hunter 4%
Tom Tancredo <1%

This is another sign that the Ron Paul revolution is for real. People are tired of the mainstream media telling them who it is OK to vote for. We are the people, and we want our country back. Corporate power must be destroyed.
