A Vote For McCain Is A Vote For More Wars

Not only has John McCain been the most pro war candidate when it comes to Iraq (he wants to stay in Iraq another 100 years!) but he has now also promised more wars!

Yesterday McCain told a group of supporters: “There’s going to be other wars. … I’m sorry to tell you, there’s going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars.” (emphasis added.)

Is McCain really so desperate to get off the subject of the Economy (which he is admittedly clueless about) that he is now promising more war?

Perhaps the most fascinating thing is how Republican voters who are against the war in Iraq are voting for McCain in great numbers according to exit polls. Do these voters not realize that McCain is the most pro war of any of the Republicans? Do they not realize there is a real anti-war candidate (who also happens to be an economic genius) available to vote for? (Ron Paul of course.)

It’s truly head shaking. What do people see in John McCain? Do they really buy the “straight talk” angle? This is the same guy who has licked George W Bush’s boots for the last 8 years. He’s not a “maverick,” he’s not a “straight talker,” and he certainly does not represent “change.”
