Barack Obama’s Grandmother Has Died

Barack Obama’s grandmother died today.
Her name was Madelyn Dunham and she was 86 years old. She had been battling cancer. Obama had taken a couple of days off from the campaign in late October to visit her in Hawaii because he wanted to be sure to see her before she passed away.
She had been watching the election closely and Obama had hoped she would make it through Election Day. Sadly she missed it by a single day.
