Big Companies, Small Prices: Time To Invest In An Obama Recovery?
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Mar 12, 2009 in Barack Obama
Certainly the Bush Recession/Depression is not over yet. It’s not even close to over. But that doesn’t mean there are not some exceptional deals available in the stock market. Some deals that could make you and me a lot of money during the “Obama Recovery” that I believe is coming.
There are some huge companies (such as Citigroup & General Motors) that are trading far below their peak prices and while there is a very good reason for that (these companies haven’t been doing too well) there is also reason to believe that the Obama admin. is not going to allow these companies to fail.
I’m not an economist and I am not giving stock picking advice (I think you can get in trouble for that?) I’m only stating what makes sense to me. I am now actively looking for big name companies (C & GM are two obvious examples) that are trading way below their usual value. I figure if I get in now and they go back to their peak prices (or even get halfway there) I can make a fortune.
