Bill Richardson Is Out Of The Democratic Race

Bill Richardson has dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination for president. He finished 4th in both New Hampshire and Iowa. He is also polling 4th nationally in the most recent polls.

He was only polling around 4 or 5% nationally and in the upcoming states so it is not surprising that he dropped out of the race and he was not considered to be a significant factor in the race.

The question now is where will Richardson’s support go to? With the race as close as it is between Clinton and Obama, who Richardson’s 4 to 5% support goes to could be quite important.

There are five Democrats remaining in the race at this time: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel.
