Bob Barr Is Running For President

Bob Barr is running for President as a Libertarian.

Barr is likely to gain a large portion of Ron Paul’s supporters in the general election as they dislike McCain greatly and will see Barr as a true conservative alternative, as someone who can carry on Paul’s issues of small government, sensible foreign policy (anti-war), and civil liberties.

With only 60% of Republicans now approving of George W. Bush there may be a sizable group of Republicans looking for an alternative to the Bush clone that is McCain.

It seems likely considering Republicans dissatisfaction with Bush & McCain and the considerable support that Ron Paul has shown during the primaries that Bob Barr could gain a significant percentage of the vote in ’08.
