Bush Criticizes Obama
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Jun 19, 2008 in Barack Obama
President George W. Bush criticized Barack Obama’s platform at a Republican fundraiser last night. In particular he mocked Obama’s themes of “hope” and “change.” Rather fitting coming from a President who has brought us nothing but “fear” and who endorses a candidate (McCain) who wants to bring us a lot more of the “same.”
“The war on terror is the great challenge of our time. And on this vital issue, the Democratic Party has repeatedly shown it would take America down the wrong direction,” Bush said. This is the same sort of fear-mongering statement Bush used to get re-elected in 2004. Bush has been using 9/11 for political means since the day that tragic event took place.
The President also praised John McCain, making it even more clear that John McCain represents another 4 years of George W. Bush’s failed policies.
In fact, it’s often hard to tell Bush and McCain apart. Take the Bush/McCain Challenge and see if you can figure out whether the the facts presented are about Bush or McCain.
