Bush’s 71% Disapproval Rating Means Trouble For McCain
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on May 1, 2008 in John McCain
According to this new Gallup poll, Bush’s disapproval rating is up to an all time high of 71%. This makes him the most unpopular president in the history of the poll. He is even more unpopular than Richard Nixon was during the Watergate scandal.
This means big trouble for John McCain because his policies are almost exactly the same as George W. Bush’s on all of the biggest issues facing America including the economy, the war in Iraq (which is opposed by 68% of Americans), and health care. All the Democrats really have to do to win in November is to paint McCain as what he is, 4 more years of the biggest failure in the history of the White House (or at least the last 70 years or so that they’ve been taking this poll.)
