This shows how much McCain has drifted from the man he was during the 2000 campaign. In 2000 Rove used extremely dirty tactics in helping Bush defeat McCain in the 2000 Republican primaries. Now McCain is trying to use those same dirty tricks to defeat Barack Obama.
With Bush’s horrendous record of the past 8 years, the Republicans truly have nothing to run on except for dirty tricks. Anything negative that one hears about Barack Obama is most likely coming from the GOP dirty tricks machine lead by Karl Rove.
