Here’s John McCain in 2000 defending the same type of progressive tax policies that he’s trying to hit Obama on in 2008.

To be fair all public speakers make errors from time to time, especially when they are speaking as much as these candidates are. Regardless this flub by McCain is pretty funny. It reminds me of a certain someone who happens to be the current President of the United States.

Tonight David Letterman exposed John McCain’s disgusting “guilt by association” attacks on Barack Obama for his association with William Ayers as being completely hypocritical.
He did that by doing something that mainstream news media hasn’t done for some reason; He brought up John McCain’s close association with Watergate criminal G. Gordon Liddy.
