“Christian” Terrorist Kills 67 Year Old Doctor

This morning a 67 year old doctor was shot to death as he was entering his church in Wichita, Kansas.

Tiller was very likely targeted due to his work performing abortions at a women’s clinic. He was previously shot in 1993 by an anti-abortion terrorist named Shelley Shannon. Both of his arms were injured in that attack but he did recover and he continued his work at the women’s clinic.

Dr. George Tiller has been a target of Fox News and many other far right wing groups and now it appears some “Christian” terrorist has decided to kill this doctor for the cause of (ironically enough) “life.”

Is “Christian” terrorism any less reprehensible than “Islamic” terrorism?

I put both religions in quotes as I do not believe that anyone who murders innocent people for ideological reasons can be considered to be a true Muslim or Christian. At that point the only term that fits is terrorist.
