Democratic Party Up In Generic Ballot
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Jul 27, 2010 in Barack Obama
For the second straight week Gallup has the Democratic Party up in the “generic ballot” House poll by at least four points (48% to 44% this week.) This is a reversal of fortunes from early June when the Republicans held a 6 point lead.
While this is good news for the Democratic Party, it should be noted that a 4 point lead in the generic House ballot still points to significant midterm losses – just not as many as the Republicans are hoping for and almost certainly not enough to give the majority back to the GOP.
That said, it’s still a long way until November no matter how you look at it.

This is a very tricky time for both parties as each have had their fair share of bad events. Som more than others granted and in my opinion I am more of a democrat voter than republican. However, what with the Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster, which will go on for a long time in my opinion, I will not be surprised if the democrats have lost a few voters there. We shall see in November…
