Even Rasmussen Has Reid Winning Nevada

Not too long ago Senator Harry Reid’s chances of winning another term in Nevada looked to be quite slim. But then the right wing Tea Party extremists that make up a significant portion of the Republican base propelled their chosen candidate, Sharron Angle, to the Republican nomination.

And now that Nevada’s voters are getting a good look at just how absolutely insane Sharron Angle is, Harry Reid’s chances of winning reelection are growing by leaps and bounds.

Reid had already jumped ahead in all of the other polls, but Rasmussen (their polls tend to favor Republican candidates) continued to give Angle the lead (albeit a shrinking lead.) But as of yesterday even Rasmussen has Reid ahead 45% to 43%.

I think Reid’s lead will only continue to grow as more and more voters in Nevada get a better idea of who Sharron Angle is. She represents the far right wing fringe of this country. She has no place in the Senate.
