“Experience” & “Ready To Lead” Taken Off The Table With Palin Choice
By admin on Aug 29, 2008 in John McCain
John McCain certainly surprised almost everyone with his selection of Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as his VP nominee today on his 72nd birthday. It’s most surprising because it absolutely obliterates his campaign’s two biggest arguments against Barack Obama.
“Experience”
Certainly you can no longer attack Barack Obama’s experience when your VP has a resume as thin as Palin’s. This 44 year old woman has been Governor of a state with a population well under a million people for less than 2 years. Before that she was a mayor of a town with only 8,000 people.
She also has absolutely no foreign policy experience at all. She is clearly not qualified to be President and the #1 criteria of choosing a VP should be “are they qualified and ready to be President?” This pick was clearly made to be a political “shocker” not because McCain actually thinks Palin is the best person for the job. His judgment should be called into question (again) because of this choice.
“Ready To Lead”
John McCain is 72 years old with many health concerns. Now he’s chosen a 44 year old person with very little experience as his VP nominee. Who in their right mind thinks that Sarah Palin is “Ready To Lead”??? Considering how hard the McCain campaign has hit Obama over and over again on this “issue” it’s very surprising that they would take it completely off the table with this choice.
This Is What McCain Thinks Of Women
He really thinks that pro choice Hillary Clinton supporting women will vote against their own interests just because Sarah Palin (very conservative, anti-choice) is a woman. Think about how patronizing that is.
2008, Sarah Palin, Vice President
