Now that John McCain’s February numbers have been released we can make a direct comparison of the likely general election matchup’s fund raising totals. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s numbers had been released previously.

Obama raised 5 times as much money as McCain in February. A stunning $55 Million to $11 Million difference. This is particularly unusual because in the past it has been the norm for the Republican presidential candidate to raise far more money than the Democratic.
