If truth is coming from a political enemy should it be condemned as an unwarranted attack? Palin is the epitome of neoconservatives; a genuine social conservative and a reckless spender. Although she supports some Bush like tax cuts Palin has also increased taxes on the oil companies and funneled that money to the citizens of Alaska. And for those under the allusion that Wasilla is a nice, rustic American town think again. "God, help me get through Wasilla" is a common bumper sticker. It is the dump of Anchorage and "Valley Trash" is well earned. Stop thinking clean water and happy folks and imagine 10-14 rusting cars in front lawns not being uncommon, flea markets, and strip malls.
