If you’ve received one of these “scary” Emails then you need to read this page on the PolitiFact website which exposes the Email as nothing but lies. It’s also a good idea to send this link to whoever sent you the Email and to ask them to send it to whoever sent it to them. It’s even more important to spread the truth when so many are trying to spread lies.

Those who have an interest in keeping the health care system broken (the health insurance industry primarily) are doing everything they can to keep the American people scared so that they won’t support the health care reform our country needs so badly (not only for the health of our people, but for the health of our economy.)

Among the things they are doing to make people scared about health care reform is creating Emails like this one. When you receive an Email like this, it’s important to think about what the intentions of the person who originally wrote the Email are (not the person sending it to you, they are just forwarding it.) If you don’t know who originally wrote the EMail and what their purpose was in writing it, then you definitely shouldn’t trust what’s in it.

As the old saying goes “Don’t trust everything that you read.”
