Health Care Reform
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Jul 23, 2009 in Barack Obama
It’s important to keep pushing forward with strong support for health care reform and the public option while the enemies of the American people (the health insurance industry and their paid for politician puppets) continue to spew their lies about it.
Last night President Obama spoke on health care reform and made strong arguments as to why we cannot wait to fix this massive problem. He talked about how health care reform is an essential part of our economic recovery. He attacked the good for nothing scam that is the health insurance industry for making record breaking profits with sky rocketing premiums despite our country being in a recession.
Call on your congressman and your Senators to vote for a strong public option.

If there was court reform so that doctors don’t have to pay half a million in malpractice insurance there wouldn’t be a need for health insurance

Take a Guess – that’s not even close to true. What would make you say that? How would that fix the health care system? That would barely make a dent in the huge costs of our health care system and would not lead to any of the uninsured Americans getting covered.

While I do believe that something must be done I dont see how we can give the government control of our entire nations health care. Have they not already bankrupted medicaid and medicare? What makes people think they can handle 1/5 of our nations economy?

Josh – 1st of all, this plan doesn’t give the government control of entire nation’s health care. the public option only gives people the choice to go with the government health care option. if you prefer the private health insurance option – then go with that. Why are the private health insurance companies so afraid of a little competition? If the government is so bad at providing health care, shouldn’t they win easily?
The truth is the private health insurance industry is nothing but a scam. Sadly most people don’t find that out in their own lives until it’s too late.
