Joe Biden On John McCain’s “Strong Economy” Quote

During one of the biggest financial crisis in the history of America is not a time to say the economy is strong, but that’s exactly what John McCain said this morning. Joe Biden pointed out just how ridiculously out of touch McCain is today while speaking with everyday Americans. Listen to what Biden had to say:
What’s most incredible about what McCain said this morning is summed up by the following quote by Josh Marshall of TPM:
“The man most responsible for the financial services and banking deregulation that made today possible, former Sen. Phil Gramm, is the man John McCain wants to put in charge of the whole economy.”
Think about that. McCain wants the person most responsible for our current economic problems in charge. Is there any better example of how much McCain represents “more of the same”??? On the biggest issue facing America, the economy, John McCain is 100% wrong.
