Jon Stewart On Hillary Clinton Last Night

As usual, the most accurate political reporting in television comes from Jon Stewart on Comedy Central. It’d be funny if it were not so sad. Well, I guess it’s still funny.

The Clinton campaign seems to be saying that whatever metric they can come up withere where they come out on top should be the metric that we use. That’s not how it works. You don’t change the rules of a game once it starts. Obama is playing by the rules. He doesn’t have to say all of this crazy stuff about “if we were counting the votes this way or that way I’d be ahead.” Do you know why? Well sure, the main reason is that he is already winning so he doesn’t have to do that, but it’s also because he has integrity and a sense of what is right & wrong.

I do not believe Obama would be stooping so low if things were reversed. I think it’s highly likely that he would have conceded the race if their positions were reversed. Why can’t Clinton do that? Why can’t she do what’s right for her party and for the country and concede the race to Obama? She cannot overtake Obama in pledged delegates and even asking the superdelages to overturn the will of the voters is disgusting.
