Mike Gravel Presents An Alternative To The October 30th Debate

Tuesday, October 30, 2007

NBC has excluded Mike Gravel from the October 30th debate so Gravel has decided to participate in a debate watching party and critique the day of the debate. There will be a live stream of this event at Gravel2008.us, it's likely to be far more interesting than the debate itself.

Mike Gravel responding to a question at the CNN/YouTube debate last night

Tuesday, July 24, 2007

Mike Gravel speaks the truth. American soldiers died in vain in Vietnam and they are currently dying in vain in Iraq. While Gravel spoke the truth that any thinking person can obviously see, Barack Obama and John Edwards gave the typical political non answers.

Until people start admitting that soldiers are dying in vain, we'll never stop sending more to die!

As Mike Gravel says "The only thing worse than soldiers dying in vain is more soldiers dying in vain."

Are you tired of politics as usual? Do you want to see real change? Real courage? Truth! This is the chance for the American people to be heard. Support Mike Gravel and support integrity and honesty in politics.

The unfairness in the debates continues

Monday, July 23, 2007

The YouTube/CNN debate tonight continued the unfairness that has been prevalent throughout the debates thus far. The so called "frontrunners" get a much larger amount of time to speak than the "lesser" candidates such as Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich. Which is extremely unfortunate because these are the candidates who are really speaking the truth on the issues whether it be Iraq, Universal Health Care, or any other issue.

A great example tonight was when neither Dennis Kucinich nor Mike Gravel was given time to give an answer to a question about health care when they are the only two candidates who support true universal health care.

Below you'll see a calculation of the time given to each candidate to speak as recorded by the Chris Dodd campaign:

Barack Obama - 15:11
Hillary Clinton - 12:26
John Edwards - 10:30
Bill Richardson - 9:18
Chris Dodd - 8:39
Joe Biden - 7:05
Dennis Kucinich - 6:01
Mike Gravel - 4:10

CNN/YouTube Democratic Debate On July 23

Friday, July 06, 2007

Do you have a question you would like to ask the Democrats running for president in 2008? If so you can film your question using your camcorder and it submit it via the YouTube site.

I'm hopeful that this format will allow topics that are usually ignored in debates to come to light. If you have an issue that you think is very important that you feel isn't being addressed this is your chance to see that is is addressed.
