McCain Advisor Steps Down To Avoid Campaigning Against Obama

Today John McCain’s chief media adviser, Mark McKinney, announced he is stepping down from his position to avoid campaigning against Barack Obama since it has become clear Obama will be the Democratic nominee.
“I just don’t want to work against an Obama candidacy… It would send a great message to the country and the world” McKinney said in an interview last year.
If Hillary Clinton had been the nominee, McKinney would have kept working to elect McCain but with Obama as the Democratic nominee, he’d rather sit it out. That’s incredible evidence of the way Barack Obama can bring the country together.
