McCain Missed Every Afghanistan Hearing The Last 2 Years

Over the last two years John McCain (the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee) has not attended a single one of the six hearings on Afghanistan over the past 2 years according to ABC News.
Considering the important role that Afghanistan plays in global terrorism and in particular in the 9/11 attacks, it seems quite odd that McCain wouldn’t bother to show up to these hearings. The facade that McCain is anyone to trust on foreign policy is quickly crumbling.
