McCain: Lying Or Just Wrong?

In an interview with CBS News’ Katie Couric tonight, John McCain made the false assertion that the Iraq “Surge” brought about the “Anbar Awakening.” The problem with this assertion? It’s completely wrong. The question is whether or not McCain is lying or just confused? Either way it’s certainly another in a long list of reasons that he cannot be trusted on foreign policy matters.
