McCain Only Met Palin Twice Before Choosing Her As VP

The more I hear about how John McCain made his ridiculous choice for VP (the very inexperienced Sarah Palin) the more it makes me question John McCain’s judgment.

He apparently only met Palin once before inviting her for a private meeting (earlier this week) where he then chose her as his VP. How did he make this choice? It appears to be purely political. Did McCain even consider the most important consideration? “Is this person ready to be President?”
