New National Poll: Newt Gingrich Surging

A new Rasmussen national poll of likely Republican voters has Newt Gingrich surging. Gingrich is only 3% points behind Romney for first.
Mitt Romney 30% (+1% from the previous Rasmussen national poll.)
Newt Gingrich 27% (+11%)
Rick Santorum 15% (-6%)
Ron Paul 13%
Rick Perry 4%
