New Polls & Top Stories

Today’s DailyKos/R2000 (Obama +11) & Zogby (Obama +5) polls indicate there may be some tightening in the national numbers. But just as easily this “tightening” could just be statistical noise. I would wait for confirmation from the other polls before putting too much thought on this apparent trend.

1. Sarah Palin has gone rogue.
2. Alaska’s biggest newspaper endorses Barack Obama.
3. McCain received $7 million in illegal donations.
4. McCain advisers admit to Palin’s incompetence.
5. Obama draws 45,000, McCain draws 1,000.
No movement in today’s Rasmussen poll:
Obama 52, McCain 44. Same as the day before.
I think, looking at all of the evidence, it’s more likely things are holding steady then any movement.
