New Zogby Polls
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Feb 20, 2008 in Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Mike Gravel, Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul
The latest Zogby polls are more good news for the Democratic front-runner, Barack Obama.
Zogby shows Obama with a large 52% to 38% over Hillary Clinton nationally. Mike Gravel (who is still officially in the race) is polling at 1%.
In fact Obama’s lead of 14% points over Clinton is almost as high as the presumptive GOP nominee John McCain’s 15% point lead over Mike Huckabee nationally. McCain is at 47%, Huckabee is at 32%, and Ron Paul is in 3rd at 7%.
Zogby also polled possible general election match ups between McCain and the two leading Democrats. This poll showed Obama beating McCain 47% to 40% but McCain beating Clinton 50% to 38%. This poll is a very strong indicator that Obama is far more “electable” than Clinton.
