Obama: $51 Million Raised In July

The July fund raising numbers are in and Barack Obama beat John McCain handily again, this time with the help of the DNC. The Obama campaign raised $51 million & the DNC raised $28 million in July for a total of $79 million. Meanwhile McCain raised $27 million and the RNC raised $26 million in July for a total of $53 million.
While Obama has easily beat McCain every month, July was the first month this year that the DNC has out raised the RNC.
