Obama: 63% Average Approval Rating Thus Far
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Apr 17, 2009 in Barack Obama
Obama’s average approval rating of 63% for his first quarter as President is higher than the average approval rating that Ronald Reagan (60%), GHW Bush (57%), Bill Clinton (55%), & GW Bush (58%) had during their first quarter.
Obama detractors will point out that Jimmy Carter had a 69% average approval rating through his first quarter and of course that did not hold up over the following four years which is why he was defeated by Ronald Reagan in 1980.
That’s a fair point. Obama is doing well so far, but there’s a lot could happen between now and 2012. It will probably come down to the state of the economy. If the economy has turned around by 2012 then Obama will likely win re-election in a landslide, if it does not then there will likely be a close election.

Why the hell is there an advertisement for SarahPAC to the right of the blog entry? Asking me to donate?

Brandon – Pretty scary isn’t it? That’s a definite sign that she’s thinking about running for President in 2012.
Also please note: All of the ads on this site are from Google’s AdSense so I don’t personally OK or place the ads, they are placed here based on the content of the website.
