Obama Campaign Reaches 2,000,000 Donors

This story shows why Obama was right to not accept public financing. His campaign is truly “publicly financed” by real people like you and me. In June his campaign’s average donation was just $68.

Compare that to the McCain campaign which gets most of it’s money from very wealthy people like Paris Hilton’s parents (who gave him the maximum $4600 donation.) Of course after McCain took their $4600, he turned around and made fun of their daughter in a national television advertisement. The “low road express” indeed.
