Obama Declares Victory In Texas
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Mar 30, 2008 in Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton
With the caucus portion of the Texas vote now being officially counted, Obama’s campaign declares victory in Texas.
Obama won more delegates in Texas than Clinton did.
This means that Clinton has only won 2 states since Super Tuesday (Ohio & Rhode Island.) While Obama has won 15 states & territories & the Democrats abroad vote.
This weekend’s count also gives Obama a slight lead in pledged delegates won in March (the Clinton campaign has tried to make it look like they were catching up during this month.)
