Obama Holds 8% Point Lead Over Clinton Nationally
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on May 1, 2008 in Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton
The new CBS/New York Times poll gives Obama a 46% to 38% lead over Clinton nationally despite her win in Pennsylvania (which isn’t nearly as meaningful as her campaign and the media has tried to make it out to be) and the ridiculously endless coverage of Jeremiah Wright which is nothing but a distraction. Obama has quite obviously distanced himself from Wright. There is no reason to report on Wright’s every word. No more reason than for the media to report on every word of John Hagee (whom they ignore even though he quite literally said that God damned New Orleans with Katrina.)
John Hagee is the pastor who John McCain actively sought the endorsement of, by the way.
