Obama Passes Clinton In Superdelegates
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on May 9, 2008 in Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton
According to the blog at ABC News, Obama now leads Clinton in superdelegates 267 to 265.
Superdelegates have been the only category that Clinton has lead in throughout most of this campaign, and now that lead is gone as well.
Obama leads in contests won, the popular vote, elected delegates, and superdelegates. He also leads in all of these categories even if Michigan & Florida were counted as is.
That is true even though Obama was not even on the ballot in Michigan since Clinton & Obama had agreed with DNC rules that they would not be counted due to rule violations. It was not until Obama pulled in front by large margins that Clinton started talking about counting Michigan & Florida. A very desperate measure indeed.
