Obama Raised A Record $150 Million In September

Barack Obama raised a record $150 million in donations in September.

Included in that record total were donations from an incredible 632,000 new donors. Overall, over 3 million Americans have donated to the Obama campaign this year. That is also, easily, a record.

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe noted that while they had raised a lot of money they still needed more in order to have all the resources necessary to fight back against the McCain campaign’s smear tactics (which include dishonorable dishonest robocalls.)
