Obama Wins Guam

Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton in Guam today. It was a very close contest with Obama winning by only 7 votes. Yes 7 votes! That worked out to 50.1% to 49.9% by percentages. They split Guam’s 4 pledged delegates which means Obama holds onto his 158 pledged delegate lead which looks to be nearly insurmountable with only 404 pledged delegates remaining to be won.

To understand the significance of Obama’s lead consider that Clinton will have to win 69.5% of the remaining pledged delegates just to tie him.

Obama has now won 31 contests to Clinton’s 15.

The next contests are in North Carolina & Indiana on May 6th.
