President Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate

President Obama is the only President in history to have made his birth certificate public record. You can look at it yourself below:
It’s extremely humorous (in a dark sort of way) that the crazy people known as “birthers” keep talking about how President Obama is “hiding something” (like what? the birth certificate has his place of birth and the names of his parents on it) or that he needs to “produce the real birth certificate” considering he’s made this document public record.
And to make the point clear: This is his real birth certificate. That’s it! When you get a birth certificate sent to you from the State of Hawaii, that’s what it looks like. The government of Hawaii has confirmed this on multiple occasions.
What further important information could possibly be on this so called “long form birth certificate” that the loons are always talking about? This document already states when and where Obama was born and who his parents are. What else could possibly be relevant?
The leader (or at least the lawyer) of the birther movement is a woman named Orly Taitz who is among the most insane people I’ve ever seen on mainstream television. Watch her nutty interview on MSNBC today:
She looks like she’s about to have some kind of mental breakdown during the interview. She should probably seek some sort of psychiatric care, and I think that goes for anyone who questions the birthplace of President Obama at this point.
Certification of Live Birth
One of the craziest arguments that birthers make is that this is not President Obama’s “real birth certificate” because it says “certification of live birth” on it instead of “birth certificate.” This is just a different title for the same thing. By this line of logic nobody in Hawaii has a “real birth certificate” because they use the title “certification of live birth.” This is not unique to Hawaii, by the way. Many states use other names for birth certificate documents besides “birth certificate.” For example some states use the phrase “certificate of live birth.”
Take a look at your own birth certificate and see what the title of it is. I particularly challenge birthers do to this. Maybe they will find that they don’t have a “real birth certificate” either.
Passports
And yes, to put to death another often repeated birther myth, you can get a passport with a document like the one Obama put online. In fact, that’s exactly the type of document they want to see when you go to get a passport.
Hospital Souvenir “Birth Certificate”
Some people get confused by the “birth certificate” that people sometimes get at a hospital. Some birthers actually think that is an “official document” and that it’s the “real birth certificate” that Obama should be showing us. The fact is that’s not an official document at all, and is not accepted for passport applications.
That’s the really ironic thing about the whole birther movement, they are rejecting the real official birth certificate that Obama has made public while simultaneously asking for something that is actually nothing more than a souvenir meant for a scrapbook.
Two Newspaper Announcements
Not that there needs to be anymore evidence other than the certified birth certificate that President Obama has made public record but there were also two announcements of Obama’s birth in Hawaii the week after he was born. The birthers hate it when folks bring up this fact because there’s really no logical explanation for it other than that yes, President Obama was born in Hawaii. Yes he is a natural born citizen, and yes he really is the President of the United States.
You see birthers; this is how democracy works. The American people voted for Barack Obama last November so now he is President. You don’t get to make up some fantasy about how he’s “not really an American” to get him thrown out of office. No, it doesn’t work like that. Grow up.
And Republicans, you better watch how you play this whole uprising of stupidity. If you give even one second of consideration to these birther loons then you could end up being defined as the party of Orly Taitz.

Security Directive 63 (1991) and Executive Order 12958 (1995) established the standards for Single scope Background Investigation (SSBI) for access to classified security information and sensitive compartmented information (SCI). Federal employees, Representatives, Senators and the POTUS are required to undergo different levels of investigations, but while a Senator President Obama needed to pass a SSBI and an update when he became President. The SSBI is an extensive and in-depth investigation including detailed check of birth records, educational and financial records, travel to and relations in foreign countries, personal habits and associates, possible subversive activities, and most importantly loyalty to the US. Upon conclusion the results are duly adjudicated by professional security personnel who render decision to issue appropriate clearance. This involves the FBI, Defense Security Services, the Office of Presidential Personnel, and a host of other security agencies. President Obama has no obligation to show his birth certificate nor other personal documents to the public since these are duly examined and processed according to security protocols by trained investigators. The birthers and their believers have entirely ignored or hid this long established process and are hurling outlandish accusations and lies for achieve political ends. Why hasn’t Congressman and the White House personnel publicize this matter?

Whenever a classified briefing/meeting is held in any federal/defense office in the world, the security officer of each of the participants must forward to the host security officer the required security clearance for each participant. No clearance no entry. NO ONE GETS A FREE PASS REGARDLESS OF RANK OF POLITICAL POSITION. To get a clearance everyone requiring a top secret clearance, including the POTUS, must undergo a Single Scope Background investigation, period. Congressman and their staffers should be completely familiar with these procedures so why aren’t they saying so instead of proposing that a future POTUS produce his birth certificate?

Thought you might find the following of interest. In the early 1900′s-1920′s many of the births in rural America were performed by mid-wives, with the assistance of elderly neighbors/friends who provided pails of hot water and clean sheets. This was especially true in Hawaii’s sugar plantations. Since public transportation and time-off was a scarce item, report of births were delayed sometimes for years. This delayed report required a certified extract of the mid-wives, or home-visiting physicians ledger, two witnesses to the birth, at least one parent, and the baby/child, They had to appear before competent state authorities and after providing sworn testimony, and if approved, a “Certificate of Hawaiian Birth” was issued which included the full name and DOB of the child (a photo on some) period.
Later, the law required hospitals to issue a certificate of live birth, which essentially was an internal hospital report reflecting the name of child, parents name and citizenship, weight, height, time of birth and attending physicians name and was an unwieldy legal-sized document. This form, however were issued as “Certificate of Live Birth” in the thousands (It did not contain the official state shield) but with the advent of computers the state of Hawaii (in 2001),and in concert with many other states, decided to modernize/digitize its old records and placing all old documents in its archives, and issuing new “Certification of Live Births” (if desired by parents or adult applicants) prepared digitally from electronic data files. Hospitals now report births electronically, saving tremendous money in handling and storage. The new “Certification of Live Birth” became the standard in most of the states as in Hawaii. This is a VALID certificate acceptable by all agencies of the federal and state governments. Some of the states lagged in this effort, and this explains the lack of uniformity in the past and why some people believe they have the “real birth certificate.” One might label this “document discrimination.” or the “old versus new.” Even before but especially after 9/11 our national security\ directives and Presidential Directives have promulgated far reaching protocols/procedures and improvements and the tightening of our overall security infrastructure including stricter background investigations of our federal personnel work force , which include the VP and President. TODAY WE HAVE THE STRONGEST SECURITY POSTURE IN OUR HISTORY. SECURITY IS SO THIGHT NO ONE HAS LEAKED ANY INFORMATION OF FBI OR OPM CHECKS ON THE VP/POTUS. WONDERFUL.

The truth is Obama has already put his birth certificate online for everyone to see. No President has ever had his birth certificate displayed online before. So to say that he is in anyway lacking in transparency is absolutely ridiculous.
There is absolutely nothing Obama can do to stop these idiots from taking their “case” to the courts. Again: Obama has already shown his birth certificate! He is not wasting anybody’s money or time. Obama’s BC is a standard certificate of live birth which is issued based on a statement of live birth by the attending physician. This certificate is considered “primary” evidence of birth at the place and date shown by all US government agencies, including the SSA, for whom I was employed for 32 years.

Nitpicking over the details of this document only make you seem like a lunatic. The State of Hawaii has confirmed this is Obama’s official birth certificate. Obama has been able to get a passport (obviously) with this document. The US Gov’t obviously looks into the background of all serious Presidential candidates and never saw anything suspicious in Obama’s background.

I just pulled out my officially issued birth certificate from the state of Pennsylvania. This is the same birth certificate I was able to obtain an United States passport. On it it has the following information:
Date of birth
Date the certificate was filed
Date it was issued to me by request
My sex
My name
No other information is on it an amazingly, no one questioned that I was a citizen of the United States of America.
President Obama’s birth certificate (the short one he originally released) has way more information than mine does and still people question it. It boggles my mind.

I think most of the people who questioned Obama’s BC never looked at their own. It just shows how quick they were to want to believe something negative about the President, they didn’t even check to see if it made any sense.
