1. Tell Your Health Care Horror Story.
This is a great idea. This will help people to put faces to the statistics. The sad thing is most people don’t realize just how corrupt our current health insurance system is until they get sick. It’s standard practice for the private insurance companies to deny coverage for any reason they can cook up in order to save money.
2. Health Insurance Money Sways Senators Against The Public Option?
Is this Democracy? Are we really going to sit by and watch the health insurance industry buy off Senators and keep us from getting the real health care reform that we need? Any Senator that comes out against the public option should be cut off from all grassroots fund raising.
3. The Argument Against The Public Option Is WHAT?!
It appears that the Republican argument is now that the public option would save people too much money and give people superior coverage and thus most people would want to choose it over their private health insurance plans thus destroying the private health insurance industry.
My response to that is: So what?! If we get better coverage at a lower price then good riddance to the health insurance industry. They are the problem, if they get destroyed then so be it. They should not be the priority. The American people should be the priority.
