President Obama’s Approval Rating Up To 65%
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Apr 23, 2009 in Barack Obama
President Obama’s approval rating has climbed up to 65% as of today which makes the right wing claim that “Obama Is Losing Popularity” look all that much more ridiculous.
The question is: Why is Obama’s approval rating climbing? It’s hard to know for sure, but my theory is Dick Cheney & Karl Rove. These two folks, who by any reasonable definition are war criminals, have been the face of the Republican party lately. They are reminding people of just how bad a President George W. Bush was and by comparison that is making President Obama look even better.

Speaking of war criminals in the Bush administration, these are some of the latest stories you need to check out:
CNN: Cheney & Rice personally approved torture.
Andrew Sullivan: Cheney lies again.
This is not about politics, this is about the basic fabric of what America is supposed to be about. Bush, Cheney, and most of those in their administration belong in prison.

Your theory on Obama’s popularity has a bit of contradiction – Obama OPPOSES the prosecution of Bush officials. He’s trying to “look forward, not backward”, as he puts it.
Hopefully the Americans who still believe in the rule of law can change his mind…

Have you forgotten who the real enemy is and why it was found legal to use such tactics in the first place? The answer is probably not, but what is important for ppl like you is to spew forth more hate than is needed.
Way to go, lesser human(s).

The right is desperate to try to paint Obama as a neo-Jimmy Carter… it’s really the best thing they’ve got… we’ve been hearing, since day one, this meme about “buyer’s remorse” (Obama voters now sorry they voted for him) and no matter how much the evidence proves the contrary – that in fact, Obama’s approval numbers with everyone on the left, right and center have been consistently climbing.
Watching Cheney repeatedly admit to authorizing illegal torture methods in a desperate attempt to prove him and Rove/Bush kept us safe is quite hilarious… he’s digging his own hole…

I agree that some force must be taken to protect the US.But a slap on the hand when you killed over 4,000 innocent people should not be, Obama which I voted for is making me regret my decision, stand firm, be a man and a President which means protect your country.I feel this man is protecting everybody out their but us.

Jackson, you should clear up exactly what you’re talking about… I’m not quite sure what you are trying to get at.
