Ron Paul More Than Doubles Rudy Giuliani In Iowa
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Jan 4, 2008 in Ron Paul, Rudy Giuliani
One of the biggest stories of the Republican Iowa caucuses is how Ron Paul exceeded media expectations and the polling numbers to finish with a strong 10%, more than double national poll front runner Rudy Giuliani’s 4% finish. This is very impressive considering that the television media has all but ignored Paul leading up to the caucus. The few times that the TV media does talk about Ron Paul, it’s usually in a condescending fashion in attempt to marginalize his campaign and his many supporters.
Why is the mainstream media so afraid of Ron Paul’s message? The short answer is that unlike the other Republican candidates, Ron Paul is not paid off by the corporations. The same corporations that own the mainstream media. In other words, Ron Paul actually tells the truth. He represents real change and that scares the establishment in a big way.
Along with more than doubling Rudy Giuliani, Ron Paul was also only slightly behind two more establishment candidates: John McCain & Fred Thompson.
It’s clear that if McCain, Thompson, and Giuliani are to be taken seriously post Iowa, Ron Paul should be as well. He has real support and it is growing every day.
