Rudy Giuliani’s Fear Mongering TV Ad

The Giuliani campaign’s latest advertisement takes tastelessness to new heights. Not only is the technique of trying to scare the American people into supporting Giuliani disgusting, but the ad also contains flat out falsehoods. It claims that Osama Bin Laden is “still making threats” but he hasn’t been heard from in years and many think that he is not even alive anymore. In fact, the recently assassinated Benazir Bhutto said that Osama Bin Laden was murdered in an interview not that long before her assassination.
