Sell-Outs or Sociopaths?

It seems today’s Democratic Party is to the right of the Republican Party of 1956 on many issues… where’s that put the Republicans? They’re so far to the right that they aren’t even on the map anymore.

If our country wasn’t so crazy the Democratic Party would be the conservative party and there’d be a real liberal (true liberal meaning not just social programs but also anti-war and pro civil liberties) party to choose from on the left.

Instead we’re stuck with choosing either a pro-war conservative big business party (the Democratic Party) or a bunch of complete sociopaths (the Repubilcan Party.) Not much of a choice, really.

But still the Republicans are now actively trying to wreck the economy and keep people unemployed just to improve their chances to win in November… “country first” ? These guys are just sick really. I truly believe they do not care about anything but their own power no matter how badly they screw up the country in the process.

The Democrats may be sell-outs but the Republicans want to take us back to the Dark Ages (their anti-science bent is truly scary and an area where there is a big difference between the Democrats and the Republicans.) Given this choice, I must strongly support the sell-outs.

Today’s Republican Party is just too crazy to govern.
