Sen. Claire McCaskill Makes A Great Point At Town Hall

McCaskill asks the audience to raise their hands if they have Medicare (many of them do.) She then asks the audience to raise their hand again if they want to get rid of their Medicare (none of them do.) She then makes the point that there are many people at this town hall meeting who currently have “government run health care” and who obviously like it.

The arguments against health care reform are so devoid of logic (and any basis in fact) that it doesn’t take much to poke holes in them. That’s why those organizing this anti health care reform nonsense want these people to yell and scream. They know that they can’t win a reasoned debate.
