Stand With Dr. Dean – Support The Public Option

It’s important to let the overwhelming Democratic majority (60% in the Senate, 59% in the House) that the citizens of the United States elected in the 2008 elections know that they were elected for a reason: To bring about real change.

One of the areas where the US needs the most substantial change is health care (where the US ranks #37 in the world in health care outcomes despite spending more money than any other country in the world on health care.) We must let the Democrats in the House, in the Senate, and in the White House know that health care reform without a Public Option included just isn’t acceptable. It’s not what we elected them to do.

That’s why I encourage you to Stand With Dr. Howard Dean to Support The Public Option! This is a way to let the Democrats in the House & Senate know that we expect them not to be persuaded by the health insurance industry or any of the lies/misinformation being spread about health care reform from the crazed right wingers who want nothing more than to keep running the country into a ditch.
