A new poll from Fox News has the Republican party at record low favorable rating at just 36% (with 53% unfavorable) while President Obama has a 62% favorable rating in the poll. The President’s unfavorable rating is at just 33%.
In a direct comparison with the Democratic party, the Republican party lags considerably. The Democratic […]

There is now only one full day left of George W. Bush’s failed presidency (January 19th) and that means Barack Obama is about to be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. As this historic occasion grows closer, Obama’s popularity has been rising.
According to a new CNN poll, Obama’s […]

The final popular vote spread from the RealClearPolitics.com poll average was Barack Obama +6.5, the final spread at Pollster.com (which includes more polls than RCP) was Obama +7.6, and the final projection from FiveThirtyEight.com was Obama +6.1
The (not quite) final actual popular vote? Obama by 6.5
So much for the Bradley effect and the cellphone […]

Today’s Gallup national tracking poll shows movement back towards Obama. His lead among registered voters is back up to 9% points (it fell to 7% yesterday.)
This seems to indicate that the recent “tightening” in the trackers may be little more than statistical noise or a very slight movement towards McCain (looking at all of […]

A Pew Research national poll (1,325 registered voters) has Barack Obama ahead of John McCain 52% to 36% and perhaps even more impressively, Obama holds a 53% to 34% lead in their poll among those who have already voted (15% of the sample.)
Another good sign for Obama is that 74% of his support is […]

Tonight’s new numbers (for 10/23) from the Zogby tracking poll put Obama up by 12% points over McCain (52% to 40%) - this is particularly remarkable because this same poll only had Obama up by only 3% points just 5 days ago (10/18.)
It has been a very good week for the Obama campaign (and […]
