The Full Truth About Reverend Wright

A few seconds taken out of context out of Reverend Wright’s 30 year career have been repeated over and over again by the mainstream media to try and give the impression that Rev. Wright is somehow a “racist” or “anti-white” when the truth of the matter is that he is anything but.

Wright has married many multi-racial couples at his church and he has been very welcoming of all races at his church. In fact the United Church of Christ is an overwhelmingly white denomination!

The idea that Wright is anti White or racist is purely ridiculous. His comments about 9/11 are also being taken out of context. He said that 9/11 was the result of American foreign policy. This is not anti-American, it is a fact. The CIA is well aware of the true cause of such terrorism and they have a word for this response to American foreign policy: “Blowback.”

He didn’t say that 9/11 was acceptable because of American foreign policy, only explainable. It’s never acceptable to kill innocent people. Not when someone else does it and not when we do it.

That’s a truly Christian thing to say. Much more so than when John Hagee (whom McCain actively sought & received an endorsement from) said that Katrina was an act of God against New Orleans for being too “sinful.”
