Nuri al-Maliki, the Iraqi Prime Minister, supports Barack Obama’s proposal to withdraw from Iraq according to this story at Reuters.
This is obviously a significant story as it illustrates how even the Iraqi people themselves want the US out of Iraq. It’s a significant story because what the Iraq PM is saying is the complete opposite of what John McCain has been saying.
