The Media Misreports On The Wesley Clark Story
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on Jul 2, 2008 in John McCain
Watch This:
How desperate is the MSM to create a story where there isn’t one? How much will they twist someone’s words out of context? Did they even hear what Clark actually said?
“I certainly honor his service as a prisoner of war, he was a hero to me and to hundreds of thousands, millions of others in the armed forces as a prisoner of war.”
The point that Clark was making is that McCain’s experience, while being something is obviously respected, is not something that makes him automatically knowledgeable about commanding the military.
“He hasn’t held executive responsibility.”
That is a fact. McCain has not held executive responsibility in the military. That’s not “swift boating.” It’s the truth.

Yeah, sounds like they are making a lot out of nothing, but people in glass houses…
I would argue that some military experience is probably better than none when it comes to being Commander In Chief – this guy probably should have just kept his mouth shut.

“this guy” was a military general with far more military experience than John McCain.
Furthermore the whole idea that military experience has anything to do with being President is absolutely ridiculous. It sure didn’t help Vietnam War HERO John Kerry get elected in 2004 over a draft dodging pair like dubya & Cheney. Did it?

Military experience didn’t get Kerry elected, but I don’t think that GW’s lack of military experience has really helped the country.
“This Guy” may be a military general, but he has much less POLITICAL experience than McCain. I’m not saying his comments aren’t correct, I’m saying they probably didn’t do Obama any favors.
