W

Oliver Stone’s W came out today. It is, of course, a film based on the life of President George W. Bush.

The reason I think this is worth mentioning here is that this movie is getting a pretty huge push (I’ve seen countless commercials for it on television) and it seems to me the more that George W. Bush is on the mind of Americans the better for Barack Obama and the worse for John “I voted with George Bush 90% of the time” McCain.

It seems that this movie would have to remind people that regardless of any of his “Maverick” talking points, McCain is just another Republican who has the same policies as the ones that got our country into the mess it’s in today.

McCain also uses the same dishonest campaign tactics that W used to get elected & re-elected. He has the same neocons running his campaign (and everyone knows they are the ones that pushed him to select the pathetic Sarah Palin.) McCain’s despicable dishonest campaign should be a huge warning to anyone who actually believes the “Maverick” line.

While not everyone supports Obama, nearly everyone can agree that W has been a disaster as President. Nearly everyone can agree that the country is on the wrong track and a vote for McCain is a vote to stay on that same track.
